MEET OUR TEAM

For those of you that have retired horses and horses that deserve a quiet and beautiful home, we are here to provide that for you. Our love for animals is what drives us to provide the service. We have many animals that live here, most of which are pets. We take pride in having a quality facility, with love, attention and care provided.

Whether a retired racehorse, working horse or show horse, every residential horse or resting visitor is unique and therefore has specific needs that need to be catered for. We recognise this and therefore take careful decisions in how we look after each individual.

TESTIMONIALS

I came across Channel View Equine Retreat after searching for over a year for a suitable retirement home for my 19 year old thoroughbred mare.

The farm is in a beautiful setting with plenty of grazing and large light stables, immaculately kept.

Gabrielle, Cheryl and Laura are extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind, caring for the individual needs of each horse, taking the time to get to know each one and giving them lots of love and attention.

I have regular updates on how my horse is doing, discussions about her care, routine and feed. I am welcome to visit any time and I am involved in making any healthcare decisions.

I have total peace of mind knowing that my horse is being loved and cared for and I would definitely recommend.

I have known Gabrielle for many years as a client and as a friend. She is an experienced and
compassionate horsewoman with a wealth of knowledge and high standards of care. Gabrielle
is able to offer a haven for horses in a beautiful setting with quality facilities and grazing along
with an excellent standard of individual care and attention for any Equine needs.

I’ve had horses and ponies with Gabrielle at Channel View in the past and can’t speak highly enough of the care and facilities there. The love they show to the animals is just like mine as an owner.

Couldn’t ask for more knowledgable and loving care!

They are a great team and I couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather leave my horses with.
